Our vision is to enable all employees and inspire them for their work. We call this: Empower Every Employee. Flip is a mobile platform used by innovative companies that want to reach and engage all employees. No matter where they work - on the shop floor, in the office or on the road. With Flip, we are changing the way people work together - among each other and with each other - because the app gives employees access to everything they need for their daily work.

Foreword

We want to build software that connects people with their work - that’s the mission that drives us every day. Flip is an app on your employees’ smartphones - which means we are aware of our special responsibility to build software that is truly secure and protects private data.
In this Code of Conduct, our behavior code, we have written down what is really important to us and how we ensure that we act ethically and responsibly every day. So that we protect those who help us achieve our mission every day: Our employees, customers, partners and the community in which we work.
To ensure that these are not just meaningless words, but are followed by action, we are committed in this Code of Conduct to comply with the following principles.
Responsibility

We are conscious of and recognize our responsibility to develop secure a trustworthy technology that improves the world of work. In order to achieve these goals and to act in a trustworthy way as a company, everyone is committed to acting according to a uniform, high standard in everything we do and say - without exception. This Code of Conduct defines these Flip standards. Compliance with our Code of Conduct is mandatory. Every employee must read and understand our Code of Conduct, apply its principles, and fulfill all associated expectations.
We are conscious and stand up for others. We all have a responsibility to raise concerns if we become aware of actions that are questionable, illegal or in violation of our Code of Conduct. From time to time, issues may arise where the correct ethical decision is not clear. Report concerns if you see something that does not appear to be in line with our Code of Conduct. We have established an anonymous whistleblowing system.
Diversity, Inclusion and Social Fairness

We believe that diversity - including different backgrounds, origins, experiences, perspectives, views and skills - promotes innovation and connects the world of work. Human Rights and Rights of Employees

In doing so, we are compliant with all applicable laws, regulations and guidelines related to human rights. We also expect our customers, partners, and contractors to share our commitment to respecting human rights and not violating them.
We are committed to creating fair working conditions and a safe working environment in which all employees have the opportunity to realize his or her full potential. We comply with all relevant employee rights at all times, in particular the prohibition of forced labor, slavery and child labor as well as the protection of young employees and occupational health and safety.
Prevention of Discrimination and Harassment

We create a working environment based on respect, diversity, inclusion and social justice. Discrimination or harassment will not be tolerated. Our zero-tolerance policy applies not only to all employees but also to our customers, partners and contractors.
We do not tolerate discrimination in our workplaces, starting with the recruitment process and extending to the development or promotion of our employees. In addition we do not tolerate any physical, verbal or non-verbal forms of abuse, harassment or bullying. This includes unwanted behavior that could be con-sidered offensive, intimidating or humiliating as well as any form of sexual harassment.
In doing so, we are all jointly committed to ensure that our working environment is free from discrimination, harassment, bullying, mobbing or retaliation.
Information Security and Data Protection

As a software company, we at Flip are committed to protecting the security and privacy of our employees, customers, partners, and contractors. We comply to the highest standards of data security and privacy and ensure that our products and services are secure, trustworthy, and legally compliant.
We treat all personal data of our employees, customers, partners, and contractors with the utmost care and only collect or process personal data if this is absolutely necessary for the fulfillment of the respective work task or required by law. In doing so, we act in accordance with the provisions of the GDPR.
Every Flip employee undertakes to comply with the information security guidelines.
Sustainability and Environmental Awareness

We are all responsible for keeping an eye on environmental protection in the business environment and introducing sustainable practices that meet this principle.
We are aware of our responsibility towards the environment and are committed to acting sustainably and protecting the environment. We are committed to protecting the environment and strive to minimize our impact on the environment.
Sustainability and resource efficiency are important corporate values for us. The provision of our software is CO2-free. All employees at Flip are required to treat all natural resources used in our company (e.g. energy, water, paper) with consideration and to make an individual commitment to environmental and climate protection.
Compliance and Business Integrity

We comply with all applicable rules, laws and regulations and are committed to acting ethically and with integrity. This means that we conduct our business in accordance with this Code of Conduct and in compliance with applicable national, state and local laws and regulations.
We promote a culture of compliance and ensure that our employees are aware of and comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations. We ensure that our business is conducted ethically and without bribery, corruption or any kind of fraudulent practices.
We are aware that compliance with these principles requires a continuous effort and we continue to strive to comply to them through training and regular reminders.
